Since late 2008, we focused on making scientific outreach project Open Project Science Group in the metaverse Second Life, a project that involves transmedia and collaborative actions between different institutions and persons in the world of science, culture and education with virtual presence.
Channels of Communication and divulgation for Science in Virtual Worlds was our first foray into Metaverse. The project, which encompassed a portion of research and other outreach activities, was developed between 2008-09 and had an opportunity to present at international level in the 2009 research conference SLACTIONS, Life, imagination, and work using metaverse platforms
A year later, in 2010, during the International Year of Biodiversity, we had carry out the project Biosphere 3, a wink tribute to Biosphere 2, which lasted a few months and had a virtual space in Second Life exhibition, which spent approximately some 3000 people.
